Jinsha River (Chin - sha River) is upstream of the Yangtze River in China, also a Chin - sha Chiang, Jinsha Jiang, Kinsha Kiang. Yangtze river water system formed after the tongtian river, the qinghai yushu XianJing into it, start called the jinsha river. Jinsha river flows through the north-western area of yunnan plateau and western sichuan nanshan, to yibin acceptance of minjiang river, southwest of sichuan basin, 2316 km, the basin area 34 square kilometers. Because it flows through the mountain valley deep, fast-flowing, pentium straight down to the southeast, near to the lijiang naxi autonomous county of yunnan province shek kwu suddenly turned to the northeast, the formation of the famous tiger leaping gorge, tiger leaping gorge on both sides of the mountain and the river elevation difference of 2500 ~ 3000 meters, is one of the world's deepest canyon.
